Why Give to the SCI Foundation
You can help achieve the ongoing mission of Sister Cities International and the everyday work of citizen diplomats all around the world forever by making a gift to the Sister Cities International Foundation Legacy Endowment.
An endowment is an enduring gift that provides income for years to come. Sister Cities International Foundation established its Legacy Endowment to support the programs and services of today and into the future.
Endowments are like savings accounts. Donations go into them, and they stay in, invested permanently. Only the income earned is annually used to fund our Sister Cities International programs and services. Donors can endow a planned gift via a gift of cash, gift of stock or by making a special provision in their Will.

Start A Personal Endowment
To start your own personal endowment, please contact info@sistercities.org. Up to 4% of the earnings of all Foundation unrestricted and restricted gifts are provided annually for operational and programmatic support of Sister Cities International. The Foundation may assess a 5% establishment fee on all gifts restricted to specific purposes, as well as a 1.25% management fee on the remaining balance of those endowments and funds restricted for a specific purpose. Gifts made to the unrestricted 1956 Society Legacy Fund are exempt from these fees. Income from these fees helps fund the Foundation’s operations and ongoing administrative expenses.
As a longtime champion of citizen diplomacy, your planned giving gift will allow Sister Cities International to sustain its mission and programs.
