Cities Seeking Cities

Our Cities Seeking Cities program is available to members to provide hands-on assistance in establishing new sister city partnerships from scratch and assist many more at various stages of their search.

Thanks to our relationships with foreign embassies in Washington, D.C. and U.S. Foreign Service Officers worldwide, Sister Cities International is uniquely positioned to connect your community with decision-makers abroad and help identify strong sister-city matches.

How to get started

  1. Download the Community Pairing Survey (PDF) using the link on the next page.

  2. Fill out the form on the next page with your community’s details and areas of interest.

  3. Upload the completed PDF directly with the form before submitting.

This process ensures we receive both your form responses and the official survey, giving us the full picture of your community’s goals and opportunities for international partnership.

Concord might never have paired with Freeport, Bahamas had it not been for the assistance of the Cities Seeking Cities program. Concord Sister Cities Association is most grateful for the help and the quidance and will most certainly turn to SCI again when looking for another sister city in the future!
